Soil Land Food is an independent agricultural consultancy that is passionate about supporting change in Australian farming, landscapes and food systems. We help farmers and grazing communities move towards a more regenerative, ecological future. An experienced and qualified multi-disciplinary team, we carry out extension, training and consultancy work across Australia and internationally. Right across the continent from the Wet Tropics through the rangelands to southern Australia we work on a variety of projects across a range of farming and grazing systems with a wide range of government, NRM, Landcare, industry and community clients. NutriSoil’s unique vermiculture recycling system produces a concentrated liquid vermiwash, which is used as a seed inoculant and foliar stimulant in different farming systems.
Organic animal, plant, mineral and ocean products are converted into plant-available nutrients, antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal agents, hormones, signalling compounds, amino acids and an abundance of microbes to support healthy plant growth. As a seed inoculant NutriSoil enhances the microbiome around the seed and as a foliar spray NutriSoil helps increase photosynthesis.
These processes help increase root biomass, improving organic matter in the soil and in turn building carbon-rich soils, with improved water filtration and health.
