PROJECTS

AIMS works with individual graziers and grazier groups, government and private organisations from across NSW and every state and territory across Australia.  From the arid rangelands to the tablelands and high rainfall coastal regions the principles promoted by AIMS apply in every situation.

Organisations which AIMS has provided services to include a number of Local Land Services (and previous CMAs), Murray Darling Basin Commission, Meat & Livestock Australia, World Wide Fund for Nature, Greening Australia, National Parks & Wildlife Service, SoilCare, many Landcare and other natural resource management groups.

Botanical surveys
  • Threatened species site assessments and management plans.  A survey of TSR sites. For, Northern Tablelands LLS, Inverell, NSW. 
  • Floristic survey to determine the impact of clearing of Cypress pine (Callitris glaucophylla) on pasture regeneration on ‘Braefield’, Gunnedah.  For  Liverpool Plains Land Management Committee.
  • Lippia (Phyla canescens) distribution and management. For Murray Darling Basin Commission through Cotton Cooperative Research Centre.
  • Loss of habitat and native flora due to expansion of the weed Lippia (Phyla canescens).  Preparation of application to list as a Key Threatening Process.  For, World Wide Fund for Nature.
